Got a noob question, this is something I just found

On the presets u were speaking about I assume each one was a different roles you buy ?

1:  So if say you have 20pts in a Pyro preset and decide to switch to Stormbringer how does
It determine the starting pts on the new preset you choice? Or do u start at begining again in pts?

                    Thanks

Mal

If you want to switch from one preset to another you can either buy another role, or clear out your current role and start from scratch.  I did that when I was going Support with my mage but I found that Support can be difficult to solo in.  I reset my role and did the other preset.

Let me know if I misunderstood your question Oldgamer.

So there are "role slots" that you have available to you. The number of slots you have depends upon your subscription level. Within each role slot, you choose three souls.

The game provides "preset" soul combinations for any given role slot. These preset soul combinations are free and available to everyone.

When you use a preset, you cannot move your soul points around! If you do not use a preset and choose your souls youself, you will be able to move your points around.

The number of points that you have to put into your three soul trees depends upon your level.

When you choose a new role and fill it with three seperate souls, you have all of your points to distribute to the three new soul trees.
